【摘要】:Thisstandardestablishesergonomicsdataandtheiruseinestablishingtemperaturelimitvaluesforhotsurfacesandintheassessmentoftherisksofburning.ThisstandardisapplicablewithinthefieldofapplicationoftheEN292tohotsurfacesofmachinerythatareorcanbetouchedduringnormaluse.Thisstandardprovidesdataconcerningcircumstancesunderwhichcontactbetweenbareskinandhotsurfacedoesormayleadtoburns.Thesedataallowtheassessmentofrisksofburning.Thisstandardalsoprovidesdatatobeusedtoestablishtemperaturelimitvaluesforhotsurfacestoprotectagainstskinburns.Thesedatacanbeusedinthedevelopmentofstandardsforspecificmachinerywhereasaresultofariskassessmenttemperaturelimitsarerequired.Thedataofthisstandardareapplicabletosurfacesofobjectswithrelativelyhighthermalcapacitycomparedwiththatoftheskinofthehumanbody.Thisstandardisnotapplicableifalargeareaoftheskin(approximately10%ormoreoftheskinofthewholebody)canbeincontactwiththehotsurface.Thisstandardisalsonotapplicabletoskincontactofmorethan10%oftheheadorcontactwhichcouldresultinburnsofvitalareasoftheface.NOTE1Insomecasestheresultsofcontactwithahotsurfacemaybemoreseriousfortheindividual,forexample:a)burnsresultingintherestrictionofairways;b)alargeburn(morethan10%ofthebodysurface)mayimpairthecirculationbyfluidloss;c)heatingofalargeproportionoftheheadorwholebodymayleadtounacceptableheatstrainevenintheabsenceofburning.Thisstandardisapplicabletothehealthyskinofadults.Thisstandarddoesnotprovidedataforprotectionagainstpain.NOTE2Iftheburnthresholdsspecifiedinthisstandardarenotexceeded,thereisnormallynoriskofburning,whentheskincomesincontactwiththehotsurface,butpainmayoccurnevertheless.Ifthereisalsoaneedforprotectionagainstpain,surfacetemperaturevaluesshouldbetakenfromsuitableothersources(seeannexA).
