【摘要】:Eachtestmethodhasalimitedprecision.Evenifatestisperformedascarefullyandascorrectlyaspossibleonamaterialwhichisashomogeneousascanbeobtained,thetestwillstillvaryfromonetoanother.Awidelyusedmeasureofthevariationofthetestresultsfromatestmethodisthestandarddeviation(x03C3;).InanASTMstandardtest,thestandarddeviationofthetestmethodcanbefoundinthePrecisionandBiasstatementforthetest.Thex201C;BlueBook,x201D;FormandStyleforASTMStandards,requiresthatalltestmethodsincludePrecisionandBiasstatements.PracticeC670andPracticeC802provideguidancefordeterminationofthesevalues.Iftheprecisionofatestmethodislowandtheprecisionofthetesthasnotbeenproperlyconsideredinamaterialspecification,auniformmaterialwiththerightqualitymaystillberejectedmostofthetimebecauseofthewidevariationofthetestresults.Inordertohaverationalspecificationlimits,theprecisionofthetestusedshouldbeproperlyincludedinaspecification.Thispracticeprovidesaguidelineforproperinclusionofprecisionofthetestmethodinarationalspecification.1.1Thispracticecoversamethodofdeterminingrationalspecificationlimitsbyinclusionoftheprecisionofthetestmethodusedinthespecification.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
