【摘要】:Referenceradiographsfortinbronzeandrelatedalloycastingsareintendedtobeusedasaguidetotherecognitionofcommondiscontinuitiesandtheirdifferentiationbothastotypeandseveritylevel.Discontinuitytypesmostcommontothesealloysareillustrated.Forreference,descriptionsoftypicalcastingdefectsandcorrespondingradiographicindicationtypesarecontainedinSection5.Purchasersandsuppliersmay,bymutualagreement,selectparticulardiscontinuitycategories(see1.2)toserveasstandardsrepresentingminimumlevelsofacceptability(seeSections7and8).Referenceradiographsrepresentedbythisstandardmaybeused,asagreeduponinapurchasersupplieragreement,forenergylevels,thicknessesorbothoutsidetherangeofthisstandardwhendeterminedapplicableforthecastingserviceapplication.Section10addressespurchasersupplierrequisiteswhereweldrepairsmayberequired.ProceduresforevaluationofproductionradiographsusingapplicablereferenceradiographsofthisstandardareprescribedinSection9;however,theremaybemanufacturing-purchaserissuesinvolvingspecificcastingserviceapplicationswhereitmaybeappropriatetomodifyoraltersuchrequirements.Wheresuchmodificationsmaybeappropriateforthecastingapplication,allsuchchangesshallbecalled-outinthepurchasersupplieragreementorcontractualdocument.ThefollowingASTMspecificationsillustratealloyscoveredbythesestandards;however,itisintendedthatthesereferenceradiographsalsoapplytorelatedgovernmentandcommercialmaterialspecifications:
